You must have come across the problem in connecting your Samsung Galaxy Fit phone to the computer and then side by side to internet.
When i asked the customer care they said me to use Samsung kies software to connect phone to pc or internet.
Its was disgusting when after downloading samsung kies software problem still persisted. There was no connection to internet.
So you need to download the samsung kies : kies_2.0.0.11044_11_3.exe software from samsung site. By using this software you will be able to connect your Samsung Galaxy Fit phone to internet.
Make sure while installing the above software you should stop your internet connection because updation of the version might take place and there might be a chance you will not be able to connect your phone with internet. Remember after the installation of this software you need not to open its ( Kies ) icon. you just need to connect your phone with data cable provided and follow the given instructions.
Must have internet data packet running on your phone.
Follow the below steps :
After installation connect your phone to data cable.
Then you will see USB connected in your phone.
Please disconnect the USB connected or you can leave this as is, option in your phone.
Then go to the "Settings" option then enter the "wireless and network" in phone.
After that further go to "Tethering and portable hotspot".
select the option "Tethering".
You are now connected to internet. Wait for few seconds after that you will see that your net icon is working. and you can use internet. you need not to do anything else to let your net work on your laptop.
After several tries to customer center, i finally got some conclusion, that the new version of samsung kies doesnt show the Pc suite mode so there will be no option for internet connection. Then final call from the customer service center, they themselves didn't know how to connect, asked me to download Samsung
kies's older version .
