Adbrite is good adsense alternative but if you are a new blogger than it might be not good for you.
Reasons :
Your blog should have good large amount of visitors.
Your blog must have large content.
These two things are needed to see ads from adbrite. if you have good traffic and large postings then you can take benefit from adbrite but as you are new blogger you may not be having large postings and visitors. Therefore you will not be able to see their ads but, you definitely, can sign up and wait till the time you have good amount of traffic and postings. so keep on posting.
