Do You Snoop?

Private Zones are fast disappearing, with FACEBOOK, TWITTER, and GEOLOCATION APPS chronicling our every move. So it's relief that a majority of our respondents respect the privacy of their partners.  In all 116 countries polled, most people say they don't peek at their partner's texts or e-mails."I never read my wife's massages."says one from Kerala."If there was anything worth sharing ,we would." Even so, India ranks a high second for snooping. Meanwhile, respondents under age 45 reported much more snoopin than older ones, and sometimes it was difficult not to give in to suspicion: "I'm usually trustful,"syas one female from Chhattisgarh, "but when I recently found my husband often reading SMSes with a smile, I snooped. I discovered he'd only subscribed to a joke service."
